Some people think God is kinda like a watchmaker he sets the time then kinda sits back and watches. But that’s where they’re WRONG! God is active in every single one of our lives! He takes care of us, talks to us, celebrates and mourns with us he is active in our lives! But I’m going to focus in on Caretaker today. God protects us from the things the devil throws at us, have you ever been in a situation that you could have gotten hurt but you didn’t I hear those kind of stories everyday and I praise the Lord that they didn’t get hurt! But caretaker doesn’t always mean just a protector he’s a healer! He heals our broken hearts, our physical wounds, pains, sorrows and replaces them with divine health, happiness, and JOY!!! When we accomplish something great He’s there by our side celebrating with us! It’s nice to have someone who’s always there especially when people always seem too busy. And to think God does this for all of us for almost nothing in return sometimes! God is good amen? Well I hadn’t posted in awhile so

Well today it really hit me about people so that’s exactly what I’m gonna write about! Today I’m just gonna really just think out loud so here it goes .

Many people think that the family is limited to the people have to be related by blood to be a family. Well while that’s true as Christians we are all related by the blood of Jesus so we really are FAMILY! Jesus said that church attendence is VERY important and I agree because we need the support of our brothers and sisters! Which brings me to this relationships are very important. If we are going to be a light unto ALL the world we are going to need some help! That’s where the importance of relationships come in. Some people are kind of picky with their friends if they aren’t “Cool” we don’t sit with them well Jesus’s best friends were the outcasts and that’s what we are called to be outcasts and we are also called to be examples:

1 Timothy 4:12 – ” Don’t let anyone look down upon you because you’re young but be an example among believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity. “

And keep in mind if you do reject someone you’re rejecting your brother or sister. Or maybe you limit yourself to christians make some non christian friends and invite them to church there’s nothing more exciting then to watch a life be changed and helping them with there walk with God! And when we became christians we pretty much gave up the right to be picky about who we are friends with. We need to witness to everyone because God loves us all and why would anyone want to be without his love? You know everyone tells us ” Oh God loves you!” but you never really get it until it sinks in then you’re like ” God loves ME ” then your friend will be like “yes… He does…” then you’d be like ” No you don’t understand! God loves…. ME!!!!”. I recently discovered that hahaha. But I mean once it sinks in you have this new found love for God and all people! It’s really great God’s love really is amazing and all you can do is try to explain it to the brothers and sisters that haven’t had it sink in yet… it’s like trying to explain Disney World to a kid whos only ever seen his local playground . That’s why relationships are important we help each other realize things and get a new perspective on it. It really is amazing what you figure out through the counsel of others. That’s in fact one way God speaks to us is through our friends . But it just really gets to me when I read about how Jesus was saying that if He had 100 sheep and one went missing he’d go and leave the other 99 and go search for that 1 that went astray! He is just waiting for all the lost sheep to come back and He is searching for them! And when I see a Atheist or someone from another religon I think that’s one of my long lost brother or sister and it’s a real motivator for witnessing if you LOVE people like I do . But you know your best friend and you know how when you were little you’d say ” We’re long lost sisters!” to everyone? Well you really are and I love that about Jesus not only do we have a deep connection to him but we have a new deep connection through him to everyone around us!

I love writing on this blog I really do! For me I don’t really know something like that it actually sinks in until I tell someone else about it or I write it for someone to read so It’s really great thing for me to do because I really connect with God because I’m learning things that I didn’t even think I know! like have you ever been witnessing or helping someone and your pulling verses out of nowhere that you didn’t even know you knew and your thinking ” Where is this all coming from?! ” that’s how it is with my blog it just draws me closer to him and I’ve been told I’m a good writer so it’s helping my writing too! I really didn’t expect to have 151 views within the first week though! It’s been really Great and I want to thank you all for reading it and being so great! Well I was just thinking out loud and I kind of skip from topic to topic when I’m just thinking so I’m sorry if it didn’t make sense but I can’t tell because I wrote it and that’s my thinking pattern so I’m gonna think it makes total sense hahahahaha But once again thank you guys and I hope you liked this post I’ll be back to write again sometime tomorrow

Hey girls I was just thinking today and I felt I should write about this quote I saw.

” I am an Alien.I I am not of this world, nor do I call it “Home”. My desires are not for earthly things that will fade, corrode, or burn. I set my heart & mind on things above. My faith and hope are in God alone and I eagerly await his return for me. I’m a citizen of HEAVEN.”

I think it’s a great quote because it’s really close to some like I get really caught up in the acceptance thing and now I’m getting used to the fact that I am an “Alien” that I do not belong and I wasn’t called to belong I was called to be an ambassador for Christ even if it means being an outcast! I love people and it’s hard to imagine being an outcast so I’m praying for some great christian friends to come to my school this year so we can grow in our faith together. Jesus said that it’s very important the gathering of believers to encourage each other to live for the one that will never leave and is coming back. It’s hard to think of ourselves as aliens. I mean we don’t have green skin or antennas but honestly we are we don’t belong here, and we never will. You’d think once we asked him into our heart then we’d just go to heaven right? Well the only reason we don’t is so we can be disciples to all nations! If you read in revelation it says that once the gospel has been preached to all the earth he will come back! So that’s the only reason us “Aliens” are still here! We are all called to be God’s children so we are here to gather all the lost children of God! We’re all one big family and personally if my best friend and possible sister through christ wasn’t saved and she died and I could have led her to christ It would break my heart. That’s my motivation. Our mission is to make disciples of all nations that’s the reason why we haven’t gone home yet. Personally I want to go home as soon as possible because this world isn’t so great… In fact just writing this is making me want to cry of homesickness and sadness for all my lost sisters and brothers. I just hope that this post will help some of you in some way I don’t know when where or how it may help anything I just felt like I should write it maybe it was for my benefit ( sometimes you can know something but if you don’t really think about it or talk about it it doesn’t really hit you for some reason until you think it and talk it. for me at least.) or maybe it was for yours I don’t know but I’d love your feedback just email me or comment

I’m super sorry people I’ve just been busy but now I’m back on track! Today I’d like to talk about Purity Rings. Every Jonas brother fan has heard that they wear purity rings ever since you’ve seen a few more than usual right? I have. I’m wondering is this just a trend or an actual promise? Everyone wearing one just because they saw it on a celebrity defeats the purpose completely!!! I admit I hadn’t had one since the Jonas brothers said what it was but I never knew what it was and I’m not joking around about it like a lot are. Purity Rings are a serious promise from you to God saying you will stay a virgin until you’re married. I don’t think that sounds like a joke, do you? Well people are definitely taking it that way. People have started to make fun of them because they are wearing a purity ring and you know what when we became Christians that is exactly what we got ourselves into rejection and we openly excepted that for our Lord. So I encourage all of my readers to get a purity ring and WEAR IT! loll Don’t be afraid to be openly “Pro-Jesus” The Jonas brothers though I am not a fan I respect because they are not afraid of rejection. So if you’re ready to make this HUGE, now let me say it’s a huge commitment and let no one influence you in this decision not your friends not your boyfriend NO ONE, that you and ONLY you can make. It’s a big deal and I honestly recommend it I absolutely LOVE my ring it’s a sterling silver ring and it say True. Love. Waits.! There are some really pretty ones but I was kinda on a budget there but I’m getting a REALLY good one for my birthday (I’m excited). But it’s really fun when people ask you what it is and sometimes you get to witness with it really it’s great! Oh and this is kinda random but I feel like I should write this if anyone is shy and is nervous about witnessing like me I have this necklace and it has the armor of Christ and on the back of the shield it has 1 Corinthians 6:20!!!! It’s great and I haven’t been nervous since! But anyway I think that if you are ready to make that commitment and you will not take it as a joke then I recommend getting a purity ring at one of the jewelry stores (not walmart people if you get it from walmart thats not gonna last or really show you’re serious about it LOL) they have some really pretty rings I’d get sterling silver it’ll last in your size for practically forever. So all I can say is I love mine and it’s definetley a big commitment but I’m ready and I hope that you’re too! oh! and a challenge! YES after you read this check and see if you start seeing a lot more purity rings just see look at peoples hands they just might be wearing one Once again just to wrap up I’m sorry about the no posting stuff I’m back on track now so read up

As you probably have noticed I didn’t post yesterday. I’m making a statement God took a break on the seventh day for rest it was called the sabbath therefore I shall not be posting on Sundays ever. Now I shall resume my regular posting tomorrow

Today I thought I’d share something new a commonly known fact (idols are worshiped in some religions) with a new image. When teens think of Idols today they say “Well at least I don’t worship statues and idols like other religions”. Well think again! The definition of Idol is to feel great admiration and respect for, or be fanatically devoted (time wise) to, somebody or something. This mean it’s not necessarily statues that we actually “Worship” and pray to. Here’s the revelation to some… It could be school you are almost obsessed with good grades if you have homework and you skip church because of it on a regular basis it has become your “God”. Some it’s popularity, you want so badly to be in the “IN” crowd to hang with the cool people, be accepted, just to “fit in”. Most of the times it comes to the point where you’re doing drugs and getting smashed to “fit in” sometimes it means denying your christ and your beliefs. It becomes the most important thing to you then it’s your “God”. I personally have a struggle with the next one… Relationships. Whether it’s your friends your best buds or your “significant other” they’re really important. This is for the people person who love people and when they start spending more time talking to your friends or boyfriend then in prayer, worship and bible reading then it has become your “God”. There are so many more i couldn’t possibly tell them all to you but you know which applies to you. There are somethings that are just “Too hard” to let go of so you can live for christ completely. But the a wise believer once said that “if you aren’t in total commitment to God there’s no real commitment at all”.  So as usual I’m going to leave you with a question are you willing to let go of your other “God/Gods” and live for christ in total? I have a challenge for you to take a test: live your life for God in total commitment for 30 days just 30 see what happens and see if you want to go back… you won’t regret it.

Today I felt that I should write about what this blog is mainly about ~Modesty and REAL Beauty~ and why it’s important. Well I’ve got a lot to say about it. First of all being modest is saying that you respect yourself and if you respect yourself then others will start respecting you. Many girls say ” Oh I just wish my boyfriend would respect me…” and she’s going around doing/wearing some stuff that isn’t okay and showing everyone around her that she doesn’t respect herself and that they don’t have to either. Women today are being looked at as objects if you ever watch TV you’ll see that right away, We see commercials and shows about “How to lose weight instantly… Or Nutrisystem ( ‘I lost 20 lbs WOW’ ) and they’re basically saying this is how you can get pretty and this is the only beauty. We have a very “photoshopped” view of beauty watch this clip:

Distortion Of Beauty

No wonder our view of beauty is distorted…. You see there are causes and effects to what we wear and how we are viewed/respected and this is the exhibit A of what the culture thinks beauty is because of it, Our view of beauty is a photoshopped view. IT’S FAKE!

Modesty is important maybe one day the world will respect us for who we are and what we stand for instead of our looks as they did a long time ago… My question is What changed between then and now? We believed their photoshopped view of “Beauty”, and ignored modesty and rid ourselves of the respect we could have had about what we stand for and our values and character, things we should be respected for. Now we have the fake beauty expectations but we can change that modesty defeats fake beauty and make people realize and respect us for us. Will you keep on having the fake beauty expectations for yourself or will you have the real beauty where people think you’re beautiful and respect you for your convictions, your love for God, your mind, your heart,  your values, your character? What will define you?

This is a blog that my best friend and sister in christ Naomi and I have started that is about mainly  modesty and REAL beauty, but also it’s about becoming confident in your identity in christ, Leadership, overcoming daily struggles and more. Teen girls have this twisted view of beauty today, they think that if they don’t have the boyfriend or the flat stomach they aren’t beautiful. The thing is though that you are! i love quotes so I’ll share one right now:

To Him (God) I’m beautiful beyond compare… I know who defines me.”

Girls this is SO true. The world has the twisted view of beauty where you have to be a size 6 to be “beautiful” or “Hot”. I’m here to tell you that this is not the definition of beauty. “Beauty is God’s handwriting”, God created you the way you are fearfully and wonderfully made! What happened to the real definition of beauty? I honestly don’t know but there was a time when beauty was defined as a woman who had integrity, passion, talent, character, kindness, love, and honesty. Not the revealing halter tops, tops that the neck goes all the way to the belly button, Mini skirts, and the view of “if your not a size 6 and under you aren’t beautiful”. Girls It all depends on who you are going to let define you. “If the definition of beauty gets any thinner, no one will fit.”  The truth is we will all get old and wrinkled and dare I say it ugly… (news to some, we’ll work on it.) but if you are defined as the “real beauty” then it won’t go away.” God thinks we are all beautiful beyond compare and has the right idea about “real beauty”. What is going to define you the cultures “temporary” beauty? Or the REAL beauty that lasts?

I know who defines me. But who are you going to let define you?
